2012 I2 Capital Acceleration Program Accepting Applications
The 2012 I2 Capital Acceleration Program will kick off on January 5th, 2012. Due to the overwhelming response last year, TRDA will provide two “preliminary” program sessions that will enable companies to refine their business plans and garner feedback from experienced mentors and investors before submitting their applications for the annual showcase event. Companies interested in participating should apply at http://i2florida.com/how-to-apply. Selected companies will be required to attend a two-day business boot camp, and to interact with TRDA’s mentor network over a 2-3 month period. At the end of each preliminary session, participating companies will have the opportunity to present their companies to a panel of investors. The investor panel will provide direct feedback to each company, and will also advise TRDA on companies they would like to see in the showcase. Companies selected by the investor panel at the end of each preliminary session will automatically be eligible to participate in the annual showcase and to compete for the $100,000 grant that is again being provided by Space Florida in 2012.
