TRDA is headquartered in our state-of-the-art 31,000 square foot Business Incubation Center in Melbourne, which is on Florida’s Space Coast. We are a technology-based economic development organization focus upon the incubation of new business ventures, the acceleration of the growth of early-stage companies and the commercialization of innovative technologies.

TRDA offers a variety of programs designed to foster technology entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on the formation, financing and growth of early-stage companies.  We serve as catalysts for emerging companies by providing business mentoring, professional development, investor networking, and access to a network of innovative expert resources – increasing the odds of success and decreasing time to capital and markets. Programs and services include:

TRDA provides these services to both on-site and affiliate members.  For onsite clients, TRDA’s incubation facility offers state-of-the-art office and light manufacturing space, a large multi-media conference center, meeting rooms, shared office equipment, and high-speed Internet and e-mail access.

The TRDA was established by the Florida Legislature in 1987 as an Independent Special District of the State of Florida, and is led by a five- member board of directors.
